Hereford Jive and Swing Dance Dates
Tickets for our 10 April dance night with 'live band' 'Greggi G & His Crazy Gang' are now on sale from me or at jive classes in Bartestree, Luston and Bishop's Frome, £8 in advance or £10 on door (if we have any left!). Pre-booking is recommended as our dances are tending to pretty much sell-out. Greggi G plays great 1950s/60s jump jive, boogie and rock 'n roll - so if you're into the rock 'n roll type music, this is definitely a night for you. Future Live Band dates for your diary are the local band with a big following 'The Sultana Brothers' booked for 17 July, and 'The Jiveoholics' for 9 October back by popular demand after last year's great gig, and 'The Heartbeats' a Bristol-based 1950s rock 'n roll/rockabilly band who have proved popular with many of 'our regulars' who've seen them are going to do our Xmas Party on 18 December.
These will be interspersed with 'record hop' nights on 15 May, 19 June, 7 August, 4 Sept and 6 Nov. Look forward to seeing you at as many of these as you can make .... and please give me feedback and names of bands you'd like to see booked.
