Savoy Dance Cafe
The Savoy Cafe is a relaxed night of social dancing and workshops with a side order of tea, coffee, cake and ice-cream. Savoy is also the style of Lindy Hop we teach.
Example times:
7.30 - 8.15pm, Lindy Hop Workshop
8.15- 8.45pm, Tea, Coffee, Cake, Ice-Cream & Dancing
8.45 - 9.15pm, Lindy Hop Workshop
9.30 - 10pm, Social Dancing
Cost is £10 per person for the whole evening.
Savoy Club
The Savoy Club is a relaxed afternoon of Lindy Hop, Slow Jive & Blues social dancing and chat with a fantastic mix of music from all eras. Cost is £5 on the door.
Charleston & Jazz Steps
A workshop evening covering Charleston & Jazz steps. Taught non-partnered, but can then be incorporated into partner dancing. Cost is £5 for one class or £8 for both.
Slow Jive & Blues
A workshop evening exploring dancing Jive to slower music, incorporating blues style steps and how to experiment with the music. Cost is £7 on the door.
Lindy Hop Starter Course
This is a 2 week complete beginners Lindy Hop starter course where we will cover the basics of Lindy Hop.
At the end of the two weeks, you will have an understanding of 6 beat and 8 beat basics, Lindy Turns and Circles. This course will give you and understanding of Lindy Hop and also allow you to add a new dimension to your slow Jive. £15 per person, payable on the first week, e-mail info@coolmovesdance.co.uk to book your place.
