Jive Class Update

Just a reminder that following the government's announcement on Saturday of a 4 week lockdown starting this Thursday, classes taking place this week on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday at all venues will go ahead as normal and after that all classes and practice nights will be cancelled until Dec 3rd. If you have already booked your 4 week block of classes, don't worry, we will carry forward your booking for the subsequent weeks that classes cannot go ahead into the next block which we hope to run starting Dec 3rd.

If you have not already booked your classes, but would like to attend one of our classes tonight or Wednesday, we have now added a 1 week payment option to our online booking system: www.bookwhen.com/coolmoves (just select the one night ticket option at the venue you would like to attend).

We currently have spaces at the following classes:
Tuesday: Stretton Sugwas, Pembridge & Ludlow
Wednesday: Tenbury

In addition to the scheduled classes we will be running a practice dance night this Wednesday at Bartestree Village Hall, 8.30-10.30pm. As per our current COVID secure guidelines (https://coolmovesdance.blogspot.com/p/covid-19-dance-guidelines.html), places will be limited and will also be stay with your own partner or dance bubble. You can book your place on a first come first serve basis by e-mailing info@coolmovesdance.co.uk

During the lockdown, we will be running various Zoom online classes which are a great way to stay fit, keep dancing and interact with other dancers. We will being releasing the online class schedule in the next couple of days.

If you cannot make these classes, then you can also visit our on demand dance hub where you can rent and download loads of great classes to try when you want such as Jive, Lindy Hop, Solo Charleston and taster classes. To access these please visit www.vimeo.com/ondemand/learn2jive

If you want some thing more relaxing to focus the mind and body, you could also try one of our Pilates classes: www.vimeo.com/ondemand/cmdpilates

In summary, most of us are feeling very despondent at the moment and it is difficult to see the light at the end of the tunnel. Dancing for many of us, is such an important part of our lives, not just because it is fun, but because we have met and made so many great friends through it. We are so thankful for this and to everyone for their support not just now, but throughout the years.

Our pledge to you is that we will do our very best to keep dancing alive and are already planning great new events and classes for the future, ready for when things finally get back to some sort of normality.

Best wishes and see you soon.

Matt, Sarah & The Coolmoves Team xx
